ADRIAN TABACARU
Co-owner/ percussionist/ programmer/ sound-engineer

Born in 1980 in Bucharest, Romania, he has been heading for a music career from a very early age, practicing percussion since he was five, and later graduating from Dinu Lipatti music high-school and then from Bucharest Music Academy - percussion department. In 2005, he got a master's degree in percussion and interactive computer-assisted music composition.

Co-founder of the rock band Taine, created in 1993, Adi's impressive artistic resumé has made him one of the most appreciated Romanian percussionist. Starting with classic percussion instruments (marimbaphone and vibraphone), he gradually began to combine natural and artificial computer-generated and midi-impulse controlled sounds, or complex MAX/MSP programming, thus creating new and truly experimental sounds. Sound engineer, programmer, multimedia consultant, sound designer with extensive knowledge in digital and audio editing and mixing, and studio musician as well, he has been collaborating as an instrument player with the Bucharest National Radio Orchestra, Radio Chamber Orchestra, Romanian Philarmonica, Bucharest National Theatre and many others. Open to all novelty in music art and audio/video programming, he represents Romania in various experimental projects abroad.
Due to many years of experience, he is now an expert in studio recording and music interpretation.

 

ANDREI IONESCU
Co-owner/ manager/ studio-assistant/ producer

Born in 1974,Bucharest,Romania, he has been playing guitar since the age of eighteen and that's about the age when he began writing and practicing his tunes. He is the co-founder of the band Taine, together with Adrian Tăbăcaru.
He graduated from Management School and is now a studio manager and music producer. He has a wide experience in music industry. A singer and song writer, he has 15 years of studio recording experience behind him and has therefore acquired solid knowledge in the field as both a performer and a producer for other projects and bands. He owns Taine Records label, also a local promoter.

 

MARIUS COSTACHE
Collaborator/ sound-engineer/ producer

Born on 5th August 1984 in Bucharest, Romania, he has had a strong passion for electronics since childhood; he began playing with electronic equipment at the age of seven, and even made radio emitters, amplifiers, tone generators and other such devices. He started composing music and experimenting with recordings in 2002 and released his first demo in 2003.
Marius has a great understanding of mixing techniques for drums, guitar and voice recordings, software-based recording and automations, midi, sound effects, programming of virtual and hardware synths/effects, mixing, mastering for video/film/radio/cd. He loves vintage Sennheiser microphones or tracking on tape and cheap obscure microphones.
An avid music consumer and listener of bands from The Cure to Merzbow, from Depeche Mode to Napalm Death, from Skinny Puppy to Tool and from Nick Cave to Aphex Twin, his work includes a lot of bands and projects where he worked as producer, sound engineer, mixing technician, programmer and more.
